The writing in this blew me away, the direction and cinematography are gorgeous, and even the costume design will grab your attention, especially Jude’s “Ferraris.” Above all, perhaps, the whole series is very odd, which makes it extra mesmerizing. I found the first 5–6 episodes to be the strongest, and even if you have no intention of watching the whole shebang, the first two episodes are well worth the time.
