Suite 030. This outfit, named after Berlin’s phone prefix, offers great furnished apartments for both short and long-term stays. Their on-site support and concierge services are fantastic. I stayed at a wonderful property near Kollwitzplatz park (also near Wunderhaus above), which I booked through Airbnb. There is a wonderful farmers market every Thursday and Saturday around the corner (Kollwitzmarkt), at least during the perfect fall week of my trip. I’m not a mom (shocker, I know), but this place saved my ass when I mixed up some details and ended up with hours to kill and lots of luggage. Once inside, my girlfriend and I fell in love with the concept and kept asking ourselves “Why on earth doesn’t this exist in the US and everywhere?” The basic premise is that nearly all places for moms are built for kids, rather than the moms themselves. In my n-of-1 experience, it appears to help shorten cold-like symptoms. I’m not aware of any published studies that support this application, and it could be simple regression to the mean, but there are some interesting papers on carvacrol.
