SHIFTPOD2. I first saw a SHIFTPOD at Burning Man, where the 60-second set-up blew me away (here’s a video example of a first-time set-up). The reflective material allows you to sleep comfortably in hot environments, and while too heavy for backpacking (best guess is 60 pounds), it’s perfect for packing into the desert or wilderness via car or horse. Here’s part of the Wikipedia entry: Tsundoku (積ん読) is acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them.
